2021 Kim Lagerquist Lifesaver of the Year Award:

The winners for the 2021 Kim Lagerquist Lifesaver of the Year Award are; Mikel Capollar and Tyler Girard. This crew was able to identify and correctly treat symptomatic bradycardia. They immediately started pacing the patient. This was a complicated case, due to the fact the patient had an early head trauma.

June 2021 DEMCA Unsung Heroes:

On June 3, 2021, DEMCA presented Save MI Heart Challenge Coins to the the crew of Medic 8 (Michael Vick and James Chave) for their quick actions and save of a cardiac arrest patient.

 On June 2, 2021, DEMCA presented Save MI Heart Challenge Coins to the crews of E32 (Johann Ganesch, Joshua Boven, Brandon Mantay, James Vorgitch), the crew of Medic 12 (Austin Tederington and Quinn Smith) for their outstanding job and save of a cardiac arrest patient.

 February 2021 DEMCA Unsung Heroes:

Save-MI-Heart Challenge Coins Presented to the crew of Leon Webb and Shakear Davis. Due to the crew’s quick actions and patient care, they helped save the life of a traumatic arrest patient. Keep up the great work!!!
